CARRERA UNIFIED FORMULATION
Refined one-, two- and three-dimensional models can be derived using a compact, unified formulation.
COMPOSITES
Advanced structural models are able to predict complex stress field, a step forward in the composite materials analysis
MULTIFIELD ANALYSIS
Fully-coupled multifield analyses including: piezoelectric and magnetostrictive materials, thermal and moisture effetcs
AEROELASTICITY AND FLUID-STRUCTURE INTERACTION
Development of advanced aeroelastic models for static and dynamic aeroelastic analyses of wings, panels and rotating blades
AIRCRAFT AND SPACECRAFT DESIGN
Refined structural moldes for the analysis of complex structures
ROTOR-DYNAMICS
Refined one-dimensional models can be a valuable alternative to three-dimensional models in the analysis of rotating blades, discs and shafts
BIOMECHANICS
Refined computational models, based on CUF, have been used in the solution of classical bio-mechanical problems
DISSEMINATION
Our work can be found in hundreds of scientific papers and in many books
BEST THEORY DIAGRAMS
The BTD is a tool to edit an arbitrarily given theory to get a lower number of terms for a given error or to increase the accuracy while keeping the computational costs constant.

Shabnam Kiasat is a PhD student of aerospace structural engineering at Tehran Polytechnic. She was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Science and Research of Tehran. Starting from June 2021, she pursued a double-degree PhD in mechanical engineering at Politecnico di Torino. Her studies are conducted under the joint supervision of Prof. A. S. Nobari (Tehran Polytechnic and Imperial College London), as well as Prof. Matteo Filippi (Politecnico di Torino). She is an assistant lecturer for dynamics and mechanical vibrations courses at Tehran Polytechnic. Her research primarily focuses on vibration-based methods in Structural Health Monitoring, numerical modeling of damping mechanisms, and the investigation of interlaminar defects in laminates.
